I haven't really thought about death much recently. I haven't thought about much of anything recently...just cause I don't really see the point. I'm just kind of walking through daily life. I don't really think about anything. I get up and do the same thing every day, talk to the same people everyday. Sometimes I hope I get hit by a bus but, I don't ever go outside so...
2.
We thought it would be fun to spend some time together. Holy shit we were wrong. You left us on the beach, to die on the beach. I've got this curse coursing through my veins. It sweeps us away like a tidal wave. You share it with me.
3.
Am I who I want to be? I decay exquisitely in bed. I deconstruct my head. Are you who you claim to be, or are you just a a wolf in sheep's clothing tugging at the thread? So you pull and you pull until we both unravel. And it really fucks with my head. Can't see straight. Gotta tempt fate. Ask you over. Time is half-past sober. You know what I started to see. All the bullshit you fed to me, you know I couldn't keep the pace. I'm fucking lost in space. There's no oxygen here. I can't feel my face. I know I can be bad company but I'm so paranoid I don't trust anything. [babble]

Sinking 01:54
You say my life still needs a plan, you always gotta condescend. Get away from me and me away from you. If you think you're so much better than the people who surround you then get away from me and me away from you. Cuz you know I always try my best and yet you find a problem. Just get away from me and me away from you.
5.
I'm anxious and nervous when I'm with you. I've been digging a hole to throw myself into. I can't walk by your door, without you peering through. It's like you're constantly watching to catch all my mistakes. I'm gonna lose it if I'm here for even one more second. I'm anxious and nervous when I'm with you.
6.
Blood Blooms 02:13
I don't want to die. That might be a lie. I'm sitting alone for a minute trying to get my shit together hoping that you're finished. Wanting to go home more than I ever have in my life cuz I'm not having good times--nobody's having good times. I know there will come a day when you cease to exist and I know that I will miss you in your absence but it's just really hard to get along when everything is falling apart because you insist on control to co-exist. I don't wanna miss you, but I know I will. I think about how gray the golden years will feel. I don't want to miss you, but I know I will. I don't want to die. That might be a lie.
7.
I don't think we should try to be together for this long ever again. I don't think we are in a place to have that conversation. I still remember the beach. I remember it all. I suppose you'd say differently, but I was miserable and you were miserable. We were miserable. You told me al I'd ever need is right here in this family. Blood is thicker than water.
8.
Sad Most Pit 01:39
Poured sugar in my gas tank when I was trying to get home. You always sabotage me if I don't do what you want. You guilt me out of leaving, then cut me down cause I stayed. I swear to god you hate me, but just don't know how to say it. And yeah it's fine. I'm alone all the time. I just got this curse coursing through my veins. So yeah it's fine. I'm alone all the time.

about

"GOON is a concept album about 'a doomed family vacation to the beach,' and it features genre stylings ranging from surf rock to cybergrind to synth pop. It’s post-every-genre-you-can-think-of. It’s Blink-182 meets Nujabes meets From First to Last meets Beach Boys. It’s…well, you’ll just have to hear it...because I don’t think I can really describe it in a way that does it justice."
